Game Review

The match-review screen — the board, the action list, candidate moves, performance graphs and stat sheets — and how to drive all of it from the keyboard.

Open a match from your library and you land on the review screen: the board in the center, the action list down one side, and the candidate moves for the current decision below. From here you replay every checker play and cube decision, see what the engine preferred, and pull out the positions worth studying.

This page is the map. The sections below each have their own page:

Moving through a match

The whole screen is built to be driven from the keyboard. The arrow keys are all you need to get started:

  • ↑ / ↓ — previous / next action in the (filtered) list.
  • ← / → — previous / next game.
  • Alt+↑ / Alt+↓ — jump straight to the previous / next error, skipping everything in between. This is the fastest way to walk a match — it stops only on your mistakes.
  • Ctrl+↑ / Ctrl+↓ — previous / next notable action, skipping obvious moves.
  • Home / End — first / last action of the match.

Full details of error-jumping and the player-scope toggle live on the Action List & Filtering page.

You don't need to memorize the rest. Press ? at any time on the review screen to open the keyboard shortcuts overlay — every key, grouped by what it does.
